Leadenhall Market stands on a site that has been a centre of trade since the Roman era, making it one of London's oldest marketplace locations. It was redesigned in 1881 by architect Sir Horace Jones, whose ornate ironwork and glazed roof give it its distinctive charm. Its atmospheric alleys also appeared in the Harry Potter films as the setting for the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley.
