A view of the Houses of Parliament in London, one of the city's most iconic landmarks. We were drawn to the distinctive architecture and the way the building sits against the River Thames.
The original artwork was created as a monotype, a printmaking technique where paint or ink is applied directly onto a smooth surface, in this case glass, before taking an impression. The process is wonderfully unpredictable, as you never know exactly how the inks will behave until the print is pulled. This fine art print is reproduced from the original monotype.
