Inspired by a walk along the River Thames, this illustration captures one of those familiar London views that can feel completely different depending on the light, weather and tide. We love the way the river brings together architecture, boats and the everyday movement of the city.
The original artwork was created as a monotype, with paint applied directly onto glass before taking an impression. The process creates a unique print each time, with the movement and texture of the paint giving the finished image its character.
